I was really excited to take my Digital Photography I class today…it’s a make or break deal for whether or not I am going to dominate the art scene in the coming months
Right when I was starting to get the hang of Lr, or so I thought I was, my professor introduced Photoshop. And boy oh boy, that program is like crack for a crack addict!
I didn’t even know what I was doing half the time. And to be honest, I am too embarrassed to post the conglomeration of a half-naked woman from one Italian painting, who was holding da Vinci’s Vitruvian man on a globe (like Atlas with the world on his back) that was on a background of one of Manet’s painting…
I gotta tame my inner artistic beast before I let it out of the cage.
These two shots were taken at the San Diego Zoo. I was really pleased with the flamingo shot, especially since there was Jane Goodall next to me with this massive, I mean incredibly massive, telephoto lens capturing the same shot!

Good luck with it. Photography is amazing, just like poetry; feel free to look at the photos I take on my site http://www.500px.com/fustypics
What a great story AND great photos! Beautiful work!
Thanks! (If I am convinced to post the work of “art,” I just may do so…)
I hope you do! Why not, right?
Good luck on your class.
I wouldn’t mind seeing that work of art too
I have it saved on a Mac in the photo lab. The next time I’m in there, I’ll make it into a masterpiece before putting it on here…just be ready for some abstract side of me I haven’t been in touch with…ever
I love the cheetah, I have a soft spot for the big cats and this is a great one:)
