I am really excited with how these photos turned out. My photography class required 50 shots with various requirements. A couple required getting within 10 inches from the subject, which in the case of a person, is uncomfortable. Were not all French and willing to get up close and personal with a standard 35mm lens. So luckily there were Mentos…
These were all shot in natural light (just a couple hours ago). The only thing I did in post editing (lighting wise) was use the Lr preset Direct Positive to compensate for that initial adjustment that Lr makes for shots. (I hate how it dims everything…)
I was shooting with another photographer who is taking the same class I am. And the models were really enjoyable to work with since they were friends who were not only incredibly photogenic but willing to get out of their comfort zones and really work the camera!
There are a good many more shots from this shoot, but I have to save 50 of them for class. I don’t know what we will be doing with them, but these couple really jumped out as excellent.

Beautiful! Love that blue sky
Thanks! I lucked out with the weather…that was the last time I saw the sun.
